Canadian red cedar products have been a great success and many questions have been asked about them. Canadian red cedar is a naturally suitable wood for the manufacture of Nordic baths and hot tubs. It offers a natural resistance to insects, in particular termites which are repelled by the sap of this wood. It is a material resistant to bad weather, to temperature variations and which has a very long lifespan (10-15 years). For the sake of quality and aesthetics, we only use the heart of the wood, which represents 15% of the tree and which explains the price and the rarity of such a product.
