Process of pouring glass filter AFM®

Calculation of the amount of glass filter media in use and the process of pouring glass filter media

Process of pouring glass filter media in the filter tank, specify the size of the water filter tank (details are on the side of the filter tank).
Calculation of the amount of glass filter media in use
Filters better than sand.
How to use the AFM® glass filter? Pour the filter.
After calculating the glass filter substance The amount of filter media has already been obtained.

  1. Determine the size of the water filter tank (details are normally on the side of the filter tank)
  2. Fill in AFM® filter into the tank (pour in the smallest size of AFM® grade first then follow with the bigger grade e.g. – 1ng then 2ng then No. 3 (if required)).
  3. Pumping water into the tank, that’s it, your water tank is ready to be used

How much glass filter media is required ?

You just need to fill in the size of the filter tank. (Diameter and height which is indicated on the tank), Our system will automatically calculate the required amount of AFM® filter.
AFM® glass filter media lasts longer (15 years) compared to sand and its usage quantity is less than sand (AFM® uses only 80% of sand)
