Usually, there are different types of pool filtration systems such as Sand filter system, Filter cloth with filter powder (E. Filter), Paper filter system. Depending on which type you choose to install and people usually look at:
- Confidence in cleanliness and meet the standards that the swimming pool should be such as checking the quality of water that it is clean and safe
- Equipment of water filtration systems, such as water filter tanks, water filters, in this section must be looked at in the long term because installing a good filtration system will allow it to be used for a longer time and must be able to adjust easily
- The value of the benefits/prices. This is the reason why many swimming pools choose a filter system that is not of sufficient quality, because it is very inexpensive compared to expensive systems but do you really know that each filter replacement or maintenance is costly? Costing when comparatively to picking the good quality one in the first place.

There are 3 types of pool water filtration systems that are commonly used
1. Sand filter system
It is the most common system as it is simple and economical and is suitable for small pools. There is a multiport valve to control the operation. The filter tank is a vertical cylinder or a fat cylinder made of steel, fiberglass and stainless steel, etc. Inside is filled with layered sand gravel. Can filter turbidity and suspended solids in the water and have to be backwashed (Backwash) if feel that the filtration is not of good quality – set a certain backwashing period by allowing the water to counteract the filtration to bring the impurities left on the surface of the filter after that it will work again.

2. Filter cloth with filter powder (E. Filter)
has a fineness in filtering water better than sand filter systems, but there is a disadvantage that must change the filter cloth and add filter powder with sieve. 3. Paper filter system (Cartridge Filter)
Filter paper that we called, it is not paper as the name suggested but a synthetic material that is made to look liked paper. This system will have a better water filtration resolution than a cloth filter system, but there are disadvantages. The paper filter needs to be replaced rather often than the filter cloth, but it has the advantage of finely filter and dust does not enter into the filtration system.
